Kai Trump will have multiple prominent backers as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He essentially told me to compete and relax," she continued.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she can seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at the competition, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, especially reaching youth audiences.

The social media influencer has a massive following and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
